       As you may already know, the field of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is rapidly growing throughout all areas of business. Whether your career is related to health care, human resources, government, law, education, non-profit, management, or entrepreneurial in nature, there are innumerable ways to incorporate ADR into your organization and profession.

       This means that a system is required to provide ADR practitioners the skills and competency necessary to meet professional standards of practice and ethics. The New York State Dispute Resolution Association (NYSDRA) is scheduled to launch its NYSDRA Mediator Cerification Program in 2008. We support their initiative to professionalize mediators and raise the level of professional development of mediators practicing in New York.        To provide a means for ADR practitioners to meet these minimum standards of professional development, we are pleased to announce that ADDENDA Solutions, jointly with AEDU-TECH Systems, is offering a comprehensive, three-segment apprenticeship program. ACCORD Mediation Services is extending this personal invitation to you and/or others from your department/organization to participate in either Mediation I - the first segment of the three-part Mediator Development Apprenticeship Program or Mediation II – the intermediate level of the Program.
